About SleepyHead

SleepyHead is a cross-platform (desktop) open-source research application for exploring data produced by CPAP machines and other related equipment created by Aussie software developer Jedimark.

It supports reading data produced by many leading CPAP machines including those produced by Philips Respironics, ResMed, Devilbiss, along with equipment like Contec CMS50 oximeters.

SleepyHead began because commercial offerings to explore data at the time were (and still are) hard to gain access to, complex, slow, clunky and not intuative. The majority of devices supported by SleepyHead had to be added without any documentation or assistance from the manufacturer, which meant a lot of collecting data sets, hacking, and comparing raw hex data against commercial software reports by Jedimark and others in the CPAP forum communities.
